Warner Bros. CEO all but confirms plans for a Dune sequel

Warner Bros. CEO Ann Sarnoff has addressed the potency for a Dune sequel in a new interview.

Speaking to Deadline, Sarnoff said, "Leave we have a sequel to Dune? If you ascertain the moving picture you see how it ends. I think you jolly much know the answer to that."

While stopping discourteous of unqualified confirming Dune 2: Electric Boogaloo, Sarnoff appears to be confident in greenlighting a continuation – even with the adaptation of Frank Herbert's sci-fi epic appearance day-and-date on HBO Max and likely eating into ticket office returns.

No spoilers here, but if you've already seen it, you'll know things on Arrakis are very some left susceptible in anticipation of a s chapter.

Director Denis Villeneuve shares that expectation, exclusively telling our baby publication SFX magazine that he should make out "by December" whether he'll constitute reversive for a reexamination, adding that it would have to go "truly disadvantageously" for IT not to take place.
